Kathrin Ashworth from Cirencester has been promoted to Commercial Manager for Trade for one of the UK’s leading mat suppliers.
Kathrin, who joined The Turtle® Mat Company, which has its headquarters at Kemble Airfield near Cirencester, in 2007 as a Sales Administrator, will now be responsible for managing the business’s trade accounts and developing and implementing marketing campaigns for potential and existing customers.
Co-owner of The Turtle® Mat Company, Simon Brown said: “We’re delighted with Kathrin’s progression at Turtle® Mat. She has a depth of experience in a variety of sales roles across many sectors here and in her home country of Switzerland.
“Kathrin’s language skills complement our growth into Europe. We look forward to working with her in her new position in the future.”
In her spare time Kathrin enjoys designing and making her own clothes.
The Turtle® Mat Company is one of the leading suppliers of cotton mats in the UK and Europe. By using a patented precision dyeing technique it can produce beautiful designs, which are not only functional but are also ‘right on trend’.
The innovative company, which is customer-focused, offers a selection of hard-wearing, highly desirable, designer mats suitable for use throughout the home at back and front doors, in conservatories, kitchens and bathrooms. The mats have a five-year guarantee.
Simon continued: “The business has a presence at all the major garden, leisure, home and gift trade fairs, and our customers range from independent retailers to John Lewis to mail order catalogues such as Scotts of Stow and The Cotswold Company.”
Turtle® Mats are machine washable, so once your mat has collected all the dirt and mud that otherwise would be trodden through your home, you can put it straight in the washing machine and you can even tumble dry them. The hard wearing tufts do the hard work for you. Genuine Turtle® Mats will not fray or wear out in normal use. In fact, Turtle® Mats actually improve with each wash, trapping even more mud and dirt. |
