Tendence in Frankfurt is the most important consumer goods trade show in the second half of the year and it’s nearly upon us again! Only a couple of weeks remain before the show commences on the 27th August. This four day event is perfectly timed to present the latest products and trends, focusing on furnishing, decorating and giving, across the stylistic board.

The fair is a must for buyers from all channels of distribution, providing the opportunity to order innovative new products for the autumn, winter and Christmas seasons, as well as offering an initial preview of the following spring and summer lines. With 2,041 exhibitors from 63 countries and over 50,000 trade visitors from 97 countries in 2009, Tendence is a truly international event.

Within the sectors ‘Living’ and ‘Giving’, product groups will  include Interiors & Decoration, Seasonal Decoration and Outdoor Living in the ‘Living’ sector, and ‘Giving’ showcases products from the Gifts Unlimited, Manufakturen & Collectables, Kids World and Carat selections among others.

This year, as part of the ‘Talents’ promotional programme, international students, graduates and young designers will present their designs, prototypes and initial small series of products in the new Hall 11.0. Also in 2010, Viennese designer Julia Landsiedl will attend as the fair’s ‘Personal Shopper’ and will use exhibitors’ products to create a unique presentation highlighting a cross section of the range to be seen at the show.
